For the first time
in its almost 100 year history, SHOPSY’S is
opening a major outlet outside of Toronto in the MEADOWVALE SHOPPING
CENTRE at 6986 Financial Drive.
“Our extensive research tells us that Mississauga is one of,
if not the, fastest growing city in Canada,” says Shopsy Vice-President,
David Cohn.” And with the long standing popularity of Mayor McCallion,
what else do you need to know!”
The Opening Day
plans start at 11.00 am when well-known Mississaugans, past and present,
wearing SHOPSY aprons start serving the public corned
beef sandwiches for @ $2.00 donation to the Mayor’s favorite
charity, HAZEL’S HOPE.
At 2.30 pm, an invitation only party starts with the arrival of the
Mayor who will officially open the new deli, after receiving a special
surprise from David Cohn.
Along with a band,
a psychic and caricaturist, guests will be treated to Shopsy’s
food, drink and entertainment.
From 5.00 pm, the
deli resumes normal business. The new deli is the first of other
new outlets in the GTA planned by Shopsy’s.
