Diane Dupuy

Founder and President

Famous PEOPLE Players

Famous PEOPLE Players is the brainchild of Diane Dupuy, born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Today she is the recipient of many awards including the Order of Canada in 1982, and honourary degrees from the Universities of Windsor, Trent, Calgary, Toronto and Brock. Diane was the first Canadian to receive the Library of Congress Award in 1982 and the first recipient of the Ernest Manning Award of Innovation in 1983.

A motivation speaker, she travels all over the world bringing her message of hope and inspiration to everyone she meets.

Her friend Deepak Chopra was so overtaken with Diane’s powerful message that he asked her to join himself and former Vice President of the United States of America, Al Gore in Puerto Rico for the Alliance of the New Humanity (2003). Diane electrified the audience of people from all over the world. She had them stand and take an oath: “I have a Dream and I will make my dream come true with respect and dignity, and no matter how hard it gets I promise myself, I will not give up on my dream.”

From Japan to Singapore, Chili, all over Canada and the USA Diane dedicates herself to instilling not only in children but also in corporations that dreams come true when you believe in yourself.

Her school workshops have touched the lives of over 100,000 young people with subjects ranging from drug and alcohol abuse, to bullying, to the value of respecting all people, especially yourself. Diane herself was bullied at school.

Besides her continued duties at Famous PEOPLE Players she is excited about her new creative venture, The Art and Agriculture Centre.
