All you need is love.
Seems that veteran publicist/entertainment director Gino Empry wants to be the Princess Diana of Toronto, "the people's publicist," spreading sunshine.
At "An Evening With Gino Empry," held on Monday night at Stop 33 at Sutton Place Hotel, Empry announced that he was reinventing himself as a "happiness guru," a title bestowed upon him by his late client Peggy Lee.
If he really wanted to spread happiness, he wouldn't have had a cash bar.
John Neville and Famous People Players' founder Diane Dupuy were among the guest speakers and the incomparable Jackie Richardson sang his praises.
The party spilled over to Bistro 990 across the street. We spotted Gordon Pinsent and Charmion King; Tom King (no relation); Sara Waxman; Lynda Prince and a random Playboy Playmate.
